Traumatic Brain Injury Association

The current war on terror has produced as many as 200,000 new traumatic brain injuries (TBI) according to VA estimates. Many of these patients have serious disabilities and they are not able to navigate the complex sets of benefit rules within the VA.

This organization is dedicated toward helping these patients get the following:

                                                   1. Correct diagnosis of TBI.

                                                   2. Correct diagnosis of secondary TBI problems of depression.

                                                   3. Correct diagnosis of secondary TBI problems of vertigo.

                                                   4. Correct diagnosis of secondary TBI problems of headache.

                                                   5. Correct diagnosis of secondary TBI problems of mentation.

                                                   6. Correct diagnosis of secondary TBI problems of loss of sleep.

                                                   7. Correct diagnosis of secondary TBI problems of any orthopedic issues.

                                                   8. Nexus between TBI and the above issues if supported by the medical record
